Copy the Flock Together prompt into your AI
Flock Together gives you a carefully crafted prompt to paste into your AI assistant — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or any conversational AI. Your AI already has context from your past conversations, so it knows your communication style, interests, values, and personality traits.
The prompt asks your AI to describe your personality, interests, communication style, values, and what makes you unique. It does not ask for private information — just a personality portrait based on patterns in your conversations.
Your AI generates a personality description
Your AI produces a rich, detailed description of who you are — not the curated version you would write, but the real one. It captures things like your genuine passions (not just "I like travel"), your conversation style, the topics you keep returning to, your sense of humor, and the values you express without realizing it.
This is fundamentally different from filling out a profile. Your AI has observed how you actually think and communicate across hundreds of conversations. The description it generates reflects patterns that no questionnaire could capture.
Flock Together builds your personality profile
You paste the AI-generated description into Flock Together. Our AI analyzes it to create a deep personality profile using vector embeddings — a mathematical representation of your personality in a high-dimensional space. You can review and refine your profile before it goes live.
Vector embeddings allow Flock Together to compare personality profiles at a much deeper level than keyword matching. Two people who express similar values in completely different words will still be recognized as compatible.
Create searches for the connections you want
Tell Flock Together what kind of connections you are looking for. Choose from 8 types: friendship, romantic, cofounder, mentor, debate partner, hobby buddy, penpal, or describe your own. Each search can have its own description and preferences.
You can run multiple searches simultaneously. Looking for both a cofounder and local friends? Create two searches with different descriptions. Each search is optimized independently by the matching algorithm.
Flock Together finds your matches
The matching algorithm continuously analyzes personality profiles to find people who genuinely complement you. It looks for complementary patterns — not identical ones. The best matches are people whose strengths cover your gaps, whose communication styles are compatible, and whose values align even when their approaches differ.
You do not swipe or browse. Flock Together notifies you when a strong match is found. Each match includes a compatibility score, a description of what you have in common, and an AI-generated conversation opener.
Start anonymous, build trust gradually
Every connection starts anonymous. Neither person sees names, photos, or identifying information. You evaluate each other through conversation — how you think, what you are curious about, how you communicate. The things that actually predict whether a relationship will work.
Flock Together uses a three-stage visibility system: anonymous (default), public profile (interests and description), and full identity (name and avatar). Each person controls their own reveal independently. There is no pressure to match visibility levels.
Connect through real-time chat
Once matched, you communicate through Flock Together's built-in chat. Share ideas, debate approaches, discover common ground — all while anonymous. The chat supports text, reactions, GIFs, and image sharing.
When you are both ready, you reveal your identities and take the connection to the real world. The anonymous phase ensures that by the time you meet, you already know you connect on a genuine level.
